This blog is just a down-to-earth, get-back-to-the earth, site where friends and strangers meet to either learn a new “old” skill or to share them. Our grandparents and beyond knew what they were doing when they used their common sense and skills before the world became dependent on the “improvements” of the Industrial and Technological Ages that we have traversed through. If you are “like-minded” like many of us are…you are either just starting out or neck deep in “getting back to the basics”. It’s amazing how “non-basic” the Basics are to us these days!
